| Chib asks DCs to find land for Polytechs | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, January 06:- Minister for Youth Services and Sports and Medical Education Mr. R.S.Chib has asked all the Deputy Commissioners to identify land for new polytechnic colleges and ITI’s in the State.
The minister was addressing a high level meeting here today on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by Minister of State for PHE and Tourism Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani, Mayor Srinagar, Mr. Salman Sagar, Director General Youth Services and Sports, Deputy Commissioners and Officers of ITI.
The Minister said sports fields would be developed on modern lines in all the districts and all the Deputy Commissioners have already been directed to identify land for the purpose after taking all the concerned MLA’s into confidence.
Mr. Chib asked the Deputy Commissioners to submit land acquisition report within one week so that funds to this effect are released. He also directed them to monitor personally this work in their respective districts.
