| SACEA to go for indefinite hunger strike from Jan 15 | | | Early Times Report Jammu Jan 6 J&K State AIDS Control Employees Association (SACEA) has decided to go for hunger strike from January 15, if their demands will not be considered by the government. Addressing the gathering of protesting employees, Shahnawaz Ahmed president of the association regretted that the State Govt. / Central Govt. has enhanced salaries of all contractual employees with pay arrears right from April 2009 but they have been denied of their due rights. Other demands highlighted on the occasion included Regularization of all those contractual employee working in the J&K State AIDS Control Society who have been either completed seven years of services or have crossed the age limit of 37 years, enhancement in their salaries at par with other contractual employees working under State Govt. or Central Govt. Schemes, Revised pay structure benefits right from 1st April 2009, annual increments as per the guidelines of NACO and release of TA and etc. Sukhdev Dogra, Naveen Kumar also addressed the protestors who are on an indefinite strike of the field staff Employee of J&K State AIDS Control Society which has entered into 17th consecutive day at the venue GMC&H, Jammu |
