| JKEDI holds EAP at Rajouri | | | Early Times Report

Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) collaboration with Credit Guarantee Fund Trust For Micro & Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), Mumbai organized 1 day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) for Rajouri.
The occasion organized here today at the office of the Assistant Director Tourism (Rajouri / Poonch), Dhani Dhar, BGSBU Road, Rajouri witnessed a good presence of officials from various banks and JKEDI Coordinator Amna was also present on the occasion.
A K Koul Senior Manager Punjab National Bank Rajouri, was the chief guest on the occasion who deliberated on the CGTMSE in full details.
Course Coordinator, Vishal Ray while deliberating said that Collateral Security/Third party Guarantee is one of the main problems that hinders the growth of micro and small enterprises throughout the country but the incidence of this problem is quite high in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
The main objective of the awareness programme is to make the local businessmen aware of Credit Guarantee Scheme and mobilize the resources through this scheme so that it helps in the growth and development of Business in this hilly district of the State.
A total of 35 participants from the district attended the programme.
In continuation to the awareness of this trust fund JKEDI will conduct the similar awareness programme on 12th of Jan, 2010 at Poonch District also.
