They said that the Samiti has been agitating over the injustice done to the bereaved family and organizing dharnas, protests, signature campaigns and submitting memorandums to the Jammu based ministers but unfortunately the government has not taken the killing of a Jammu youth seriously and the police officers who were involved in his kidnapping, illegal confinement, torture in police custody are moving freely. They said that no action over the killing of Rajneesh Sharma is injustice and discrimination with Jammu region and we all should come forward to make the government awake and adopt a policy which ensures justice and equality with the people of all the three regions of the state. Y.V. Sharma and other members of his team gave a patient hearing to what the Samiti members narrated and assured of full support to their genuine demand of punishing the police.
