Kalakot, Jan 7: A large number of people belonging to different political parties joined congress party at a public meeting held at Sangpur village near Chingus here today.
Addressing the gathering the senior congress leader Abdul Gani Kohli said, people have liked the programme and polices of the congress party and as such are joining the party. He on the occasion assured the people and workers that no efforts will be left as far as development of the state and welfare of people is concerned. He also hailed the efforts of chief minister Omar Abdullah and Rahul Gandhi who have been working hard for over all development of all the three regions.
