Politicians are nothing to decide over Saghir Report: Shah
ANC organizing Intra Kashmir Conference

Jammu, Jan 08- Commenting over the recent hype on Justice Saghir Ahmed report on Centre-State relations, Awami National Conference President Muzzafar Shah today said politicians are nothing to decide over report; finally the people of J&K have to decide the fate of the Saghir report.
Talking to media persons here today, Shah said, “People of all the three regions and the civil society who are supreme than politicians have to decide the fate of the report”.
‘Jammu will be the first region which will witness Intra Kashmir Conference’s first session which is being held soon’, he informed, adding, “ the civil society will be discussing autonomy, self-rule documents. “Whether it’s autonomy or self rule or any other thing everything should be put before the people of Jammu and Kashmir and civil society”, Shah maintained.
Commenting over the performance of coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah in the State, Muzzafar Shah, “I think Omar needed to improve the situation here in Jammu and Kashmir as presently there is mess and mismanagement in finance and more important the corruption which has put our State on the top”.
On recent terrorist attack on Lal Chowk, he said, “speculations are there about whom did the attack, but I think no one knew who did it”. He, however, expressed sympathy with those who lost life in this attack.
On troop reeducation, he said, “Troops reduction should be reduced from the Valley by giving State Police more space”.
Announcing the program of first death anniversary of former Chief Minister and his father G M Shah, the ANC president said that ANC will observe first death anniversary here in Press Club Jammu tomorrow where Khalida Begum wife of late G M Shah will launch G M Shah Foundation and will deliberate over future program of ANC in J&K.
Besides, a photo exhibition will also be inaugurated by Governor N N Vohra in this connection, he informed further.
Shah said that Khalida Begum will undertake full fledged mass to mass contact program in J&K which will start from Jammu region in the month of March and apprise the people about the unbiased development works of former Chief Minister G M Shah.
Senior functionaries of ANC were also present on the occasion.
