JAMMU, Jan 8
Santoor Maestro Abhay Rustam Sopori and Tabla player Sarit Dass performed at Jodhamal Public School for the fourth time especially for the students.
The audience was spellbound and mesmerized during the scintillating and soul stirring performance of Santoor maestro.
Sopori, son of Padamshree Pandit Bhajan Sopori, encouraged the students to take up music and other performing arts as a profession.
Krishna Bhati, principal of the school presented mementos as a token of appreciation and love to Abhay Rustam Sopori and Sarit Dass.
“Sa Ma Pa Aalap Festival” is being organised by Sopori Academy of Music and Performing Arts in different schools and colleges all over Jammu for the benefit of students where they would be able to interact directly with such renowned artists and be motivated by them.
