| Urdu Deptt dedicates seminar hall to Prof Gian Chand | | |

Post Graduate Deptt of Urdu University of Jammu had dedicated the seminar hall equipped with state of arts to Prof. Gian Chand Jain Seminar Hall.
Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik Head of the Department (HOD) Urdu who after taking over as HOD Urdu has initiated several developmental works to give a new look to the Urdu department and informed the said newly constructed seminar hall has been named after Prof. Gian Chand Jain who established the Urdu Department in 1965 and was the first HOD of the Urdu Department of University of Jammu.
He further informed that Vice Chancellor University of Jammu Prof. Varun Sahni will inaugurate the Seminar hall on January 14, 2010.
