| Traffic cop hit in head by biker, serious | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 8: It may be called frustration on the part of public due to holding of nakas by traffic police keeping in view the traffic week when some youth assaulted a traffic cop by resorting a stone pelting on his head. The cop fell unconscious on the ground. He was rushed to GMC hospital where doctors confirmed him critical due to excess bleeding. The youth after committing crime escaped from the spot.
In a broad day light incident two bikers threw a brick kiln on the head of the traffic cop who was on duty near BN hospital. While other cops engaged in rescuing him youth escaped from the spot. The cop has been identified as Kabla Singh son of Prahalad Singh resident of Padar, Kishtwar is being treated in GMC hospital where doctors informed that he had severe injuries on his head. However, Nowabad police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
