| THREE INFILTRATORS KILLED IN POONCH SECTOR | | |

Foiling an infiltration bid in Saujian sector along the line of control in Poonch on Sunday, security forces killed three infiltrators in a fierce gunfight.One jawan was also killed in the encounter.
According to defence spokesperson,three infiltrators of Jaish-e-Mohammad were killed along with one security personnel in a gunfight which lasted over 10 hours.
He said the firefight started around 2.00 a.m on Sunday after sensors detected movement of infiltrators along the line of control.
After our jawans challenged them militants opened fire which was repulsed by our jawans.In the ensuing gunfight three infiltrators were killed while one of the army jawan was also killed,defencespokesperson said.
He said, three AK 47 rifles and three radio sets were also recovered fromthe custody of the infiltrators.Search operations were going on till the time of filing the report |
