The contractual fields Staff Employees of J&K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society have called off its ongoing strike after 20 days and authirioties conceded to their demands.
State President AIDS Control Employees Association, Shahnawaz Ahmed said the decision to call off strike was taken only after the concerned authorities of J&K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society and Health Department have conceded to their demands barring the two i.e. except regularization and 6th Pay Commission benefits.
He said Project Director of Society was instructed by the Heath Minister and Health Commissioner to hold talks with the agitated Employees and consider their genuine demands and on Jan 8, Dr MA Wani Project Director has invited the protesting employees for negotiations during which Project Director has consented to consider all the genuine demands of the employees except regularization and 6th Pay Commission benefits
