| Slathia sanction Rs 10 lakh for Dhainsar-Gujjar Basti road | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JANUARY 10 – Minister for Industries and Commerce, Mr. S.S. Slathia today announced Rs. 10 lakh out of his constituency development funds (CDF), for construction of Dhainsar- Gujjar Basti road and improvement of civic amenities in Dolian Bari-Brahmana.
Speaking at a public meeting at Dolian, Bari-Brahmana, the Minister said that the Government is committed to provide basic amenities to the people at their door steps, adding that various measures have been initiated in this regards.
The Minister also visited Dolian, Kabir Nagar, Gujjar basti and Dhainsar villages and took stock of the ongoing development works.
He directed the concerned officers to conduct fresh survey and incorporate the left out families in the BPL list. He also addressed a public meeting at village Kothi Morh, Bishnah and assured the public that the government is committed to provide the civic amenities to the people of the area. He said Government is very keen to promote Industries in Samba area adding the Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) Samba would go a long way to boost Industrial activities in the area. He said setting up of Industrial units would provide employment avenues to the un-employed youth of the area.
