| Army's help sought to retrieve bodies of avalanche victims | | | Early Times Report
Jammu: Over 48 hours after four villagers were buried in an avalanche in Kishtwar district, police on Sunday decided to seek the help of the army to retrieve the bodies from under the snow.
"We will seek help of the army in the recovery of bodies buried in the avalanche. A team of 40 persons, including 12 policemen, had gone to the area but failed to reover the bodies", Kishtwar SP Haseeb Moghal said.
Four villagers going to Padyarna village in Kishtwar district were buried under an avalanche about 160-kms from here on January 8.
