| NGFO call on chief conservator discuss problems | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 10: A deputation of Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association met principal Chief Conservator of Forests, and apprised him about the genuine demands of the forest employees. During the meeting the demand of removal of pay anomaly of forest field staff including party of grades with J&K Police and two and half day extra pay for performing duties on gazetted and other holidays round the clock for the protection of the green gold. The deputation also discussed risk allowance for the field staff for performing the duty in the field. As per press release chief patiently listen and it was disclosed that all the demands under active process with the government and duly recommended, beside he directed the sub-ordinate officers for early reply of the pay anomaly case ad one member of the Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association also advised to assist the officers and staff concerned for immediate reply as the query was made by the Administrative Department. Association highly appreciated the action of the chief and hope that the anomaly in the pay scales of forest field staff will be removed soon. The deputation was lead by Hazi Mohammad Zaffar-Ullah Sheikh state president of the association accompanied by provincial president Jammu Province S. Jaswant Singh, Mumtaz Khan, Ravi Kumar, and Bhupinder Singh etc.
