| Wani expresses grief over tragic Pranu accident | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 10- MLA Doda Abdul Majid Wani has expressed deep grief and sorrow over loss of precious human lives in yesterday’s road accident at Pranu and also expressed full sympathy with those injured in the incident.
In a statement issued here today Wani said that it was really a matter of serious concern that despite thousands of human beings either killed or critically injured in a number of road accidents in erstwhile Doda district during last one year, the State Transport and Traffic Department have failed to take even basic preventive measures like installing crash barriers, parapets, reflectors and signage system and checking the menace of over-speeding/overloading of vehicles, what to talk of providing sufficient number of government buses on this tough and hilly terrain.
