| Medico’s eerie death solved | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 10: The mysterious death of Aparna Saini, a local medical student, has been solved with the arrest of her fiancé who is also a doctor and was working with her in a same hospital. Himanshu, her fiancé who is also an owner of Aastha nursing home located in Ambphalla, was arrested from his house by Gandhi Nagar police. Police has now turned the inquest proceeding 174 CrPC into abetment case and a case under section 306 RPC has been registered against the Himanshu.
Aparna committed suicide on 22 December in quarter number 21 C in Police Line Gandhi Nagar Jammu. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan. She was rushed to GMC hospital where doctors confirmed her as brought dead and since then police was on job.
A police officer giving information said that after the mysterious death of the Aparna Saini a case under section 174 CrPC was registered in Gandhi Nagar police station and during the course of investigation police got some vital clues behind the death of the girl.
The fiancé of the deceased was arrested in a late night raid conducted at his residence in Ambphalla by Gandhi Nagar police. A case under section 306 RPC has been registered against him. He further informed that the deceased’s fiancé namely Himanshu Sharma abetted her to take extreme step and added that fact floated after the decoding of telephonic conversation held between the duo and reading of Short Messages Services from their mobile hand sets .Himanshu is also a doctor and was working with the deceased in ASCOM popularly known as Batra hospital. However further investigation is on, he maintained.
