| WG report anti Jammu, Ladakh: LJSP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 11: The working president of state unit of Lok Janshakti Party (LJSP) Sanjeev Manmotra have urged upon the central government to go in for a fresh initiative in preparing a fresh report which will be accepted to the people of all three regions of the state. Manmotra in a meeting of party workers said, that retd, Justic Sageer Ahmad’s report is totally anti Jammu and anti Ladakh and as such be cancelled. He further said the most important is the delimitation of assemblies to ensure equal development for the betterment of General masses of the state. He said creation of constituencies on the basis of area and population which can ensure justice in equal development of all the three regions of the state. He said people of Jammu region have strived hard to get justice for the last 60 years but now they have realized that it is impossible to get justice in the present political set up of the state. The need of the hour is to create separate states of Kashmir region and Jammu region and granting Union territory status to Ladakh region and also to constitute districts councils with sufficient powers so that the development process reaches at the grass root level. The meeting was attended by Anil Kumar Bhagat, K.K. Rao, Sudesh Puri, Om Raj, M.R.Purai, Madan Gopal, Ramesh Lal, Sanjay Kumar, Subash Baba and Veena Chowdary.
