| Newly appointed PDP vice-president felicitated | | Woes of people mounting due to wrong policies of coalition: Bajwa | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 12- Calling upon party workers to launch a war against National Conference led coalition regime for its failure to solve basic problems of the common masses, former Rajya Sabha member and newly appointed vice president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Trilok Singh Bajwa today said that present dispensation has miserably failed on all fronts and woes of commoners have been mounting due to anti-people policies being propagated by this regime. Addressing a function organized to felicitate him on his appointment as vice president of the party, Bajwa said that NC-Congress coalition was nothing but an arrangement between two parties to brazenly enjoy the power. “Since January 5, 2009 when Omar Abdullah took over as Chief Minister of the State, problems of the common masses have been increasing as one and the only aim of this dispensation is to enjoy the power without caring for the problems of common masses”, he observed and warned it would prove disastrous for State the way ruling National Conference has been dishonoring verdict of the people and indulging into corrupt practices. “Omar Abdullah is repeating the same blunders which were earlier committed by his father Farooq Abdullah during his tenure as Chief Minister from 1996 to 2002”, he observed and exhorted party workers to launch a war against this anti-people dispensation. “Failure of the government can be gauged from the fact that farmers, employees, technocrats, unemployment youth, students have been agitating in one or other way but the government is non serious in solving their problems”, he said. The felicitation function was organized by Suram Singh senior leader, K. K. Sharma District General Secretary and Vikram Singh Langeh Zone President Marh. Earlier Trilok Singh Bajwa was felicitated by party workers on his appointment as vice-president of the party. Prominent among those who spoke in the felicitation function included Thakur Balbir Singh, Daman Bhasin, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Nizamdin Khatana, Falail Singh, Abdul Rashid Malik, R K Bali, Ashok Sharma, Suman Kumar, Dilay Ram, S.
