| Clear stand on marks tampering case or face agitation: warns JSSM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 12- The Jammu State Students Morcha (JSSM) has warned the Jammu University Administration against their unclear stand on establishment of Police post in the Campus, infamous marks tampering and mass copying episodes. Threatening agitation and disturbing the PG Examinations, the Morcha urged the Vice Chancellor to clear his stand on these issues before January 14, 2010. In a press statement Lovejeet Singh Jimmy, State Chairman of Jammu State Students Morcha, said that students have been on the path of agitation since a month asking the Vice Chancellor to save the image of University from further deterioration as its reputation has been damaged very badly due to the episodes of mass copying and marks tampering. He further questioned the decision of University authorities with regards to establishment of Police Station in the campus. “What message authorities are giving to the society and the world that a University which is the highest learning institution in the society and which guides the society is producing criminals”, he said and added that this decision has done a great damage to the image of the Jammu University and that JSSM will oppose the move by tooth and nail. Whatever name and fame Jammu University had earned in the past has been defamed by the authoritarian and silly decisions of the University administration JSSM Chief observed.
