Jammu, Jan 12- Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir School, Mubarak Mandi, in collaboration with Cultural Unit of Information Department organized a Lohri function today.
On the occasion, students highlighted the significance of Lohri festival, its relevance in Dogra culture and need to generate awareness among the younger generation.
The students celebrated Lohri with quite enthusiasm and zeal burning the fire wood in traditional manner. Popular folk Lohri songs and dance was the main attraction of the Lohri celebrations.
Manager Trust Rajendra Kakkar, advisors of school Yash Puri and Rama Puri, Director cum Principal Suresh Sharma, Headmaster Shubh Sharma, Chanchal, Veena, Shoba besides senior staff members participated in the celebrations.
