JAMMU, JANUARY 12- The Vigilance squad of CA&PD department today suspended 8 ration dealers of Pallan Mandal, Jammu Tehsil for not keeping ration properly at 2 ration shops maintaining proper record of sales and stock and for not displaying signboard and rates of PDS items.
The suspended dealers include Bishan Dass, Dealer of Mandal, Naresh Kumar, Dealer at Surechak, Manager Co-operative Society at Mandal, Pawan Kumar, Dealer at Sohajan, Ajay Kumar Dealer at Lora, Karnail Singh Dealer at Makwal, Buta Singh Dealer at Makwal and Prithivi Ram Dealer at Makwal.
Sham Lal, Dealer Sum, Pooja Devi, dealer, Sohajana and Karnail Singh dealer at Prahladpur were imposed fine of Rs. 1000/- each for not keeping lists of BPL/AAY families at the depots.
However, all the dealers were directed to maintain proper record of receipts, sales and stocks and issue ration/sugar to the bonafide rationees at proper rate and scale.
