| Displaced Kashmiri Pandits held meet | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 14: members of Joint Action Committee for displaced Kashmir pandits in a meeting chaired by Bishan Lal Raina thanked the state government for starting the implementation of package and warned the vested interested elements to refrain from issuing baseless statements regarding implementations they were hell bend to create hurdles for welfare schemes for displaced community. He appealed the minister for food and supplies personally intervene in matter of distribution of Rice, Atta and Sugar on one scale to employees or non-employees of the community as food habits does not differ from person to person living in same atmosphere. He stressed upon the need to re-open govt. sales depot at Purkhoo Camp-III which was has been converted into a sales depot by some vested interested officers of the department. Members also appeal to Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister for shifting of Migrants putting in pre-fabricated QRTs to Jagati on priority. The members appealed the authorities to increase the cash assistance, release HRO, CCA and implement the health insurance scheme to Relief Holders.
