| DM bans processions along various routes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JAN14: District Magistrate, (DM), Jammu, Mr M K Dwivedi has ordered that no processions shall be taken out by any individual or groups of individuals and no provocative slogans shall be raised by anyone in the area on routes from Bajaj Tower to Amar Filling station, on flyover from Police Control Room to District Institute of Education and Training behind New Secretariat, on flyover from Subash Chowk (Maheshpura Chowk) to District Institute of Education & Training and Rotary behind New Secretariat to New Secretariat.
However, this order shall not apply to marriage and funeral processions.
This order shall come into force with effect from January 11, 2010 for period of two months or till rescinded whichever is earlier.
