| NSF urges PM safeguard lives, properties, religious places of Sikh | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 15: The J&K National Sikh Front (NSF) has urged Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh to impress upon the Governments of Malaysia and Australia to safeguard lives properties and religious places of the Sikh Community in their Countries. In a Joint statement urged here today chairman, S. Varinder Jeet Singh and President S. Kulwant Singh Bhatti said that the Country could convey views of its religious minority community by using diplomatic channels as some unidentified persons has pelted stones on a Gurudwara in Kualalumpur while under-construction Gurudwara in South East Suburk of Melbourne got damaged in a fire. They urged GOI to pressurize the Australian and Malaysian Governments to conduct probes into the incidents and brought to book the people responsible for this. They have also supported the comments of Shiv Sena Chief, Bal Thakrey that the Australian cricket team will not be allowed to play in India.
