| Court frames charges against Heroine smugglers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan15- 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Vinod Chatterji Koul today framed charges against accused Ved Parkash Tarsem Singh and Tarsem Lal u/s 8/22 NDPS Act and discharged Gulshan Kumar at the stage of framing charge.
While arguing, APP KA Qazi appearing for the State submitted that the evidence collected during the course of investigation and in view of the seizure of large quantity of heroine from the possession of accused offence u/s 8/20/2/29 NDPS Act stands established against the accused. Since the Investigating Officer did not find any evidence of involvement against the accused Ghulshan Kumar as such hen was discharged at the stage of framing charges.
2nd Additional Sessions after hearing both the sides framed charges against accused Ved Parkash Tarsem Singh and Tarsem Lal u/s 8/22 NDPS Act and directed prosecuting to produce witnesses and fixed calendar for the hearing. JNF
