Employees factions for making strike successful

Jammu, Jan 15- Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) spearheading the agitation has appealed the government and PSU employees to observe complete strike on January 21, 22 to press the State Government to implement the written agreement.
Addressing media persons here today, Khursheed Alam, state president and Abdul Quayoom Wani criticized the government of all anti-employees policy and backtracking from the agreement reached with the Joint Consultative Committee on February 19 and August 19 last year.
They demanded release of 6th pay commission arrears in favour of Government and PSU’s employees, conversion of COLA into DA, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies of Clerical and other cadres, regularization of all Adhoc, Contractual and Consolidated and Daily Rated Workers and uniform HRA.
Jaswant Singh, Popinder Singh, Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Dharminder Singh, Suresh Sharma and Jagmohan Sadotra were also present at the press conference.
