Farooq’s dream on internal autonomy a day dreaming: JKPS
1/15/2010 10:57:41 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15- Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Forum (JKPF) State Convenor Ramesh Sabherwal has charged Dr. Farooq Abdullah of banking upon the most controversial report submitted by Justice Sagheer Ahmed on Centre-State Relations, which already stands rejected by the people of Jammu & Ladakh regions as well as members of the Working Group belonging to various parties, groups and individuals. He said the report is based on inconclusive deliberations, without circulation, signatures and consent of the members of the group and therefore has no legal validity.
In a statement issued here, Sabarwal said Farooq Abdullah’s dream of restoration of internal autonomy to its pre-1953 position and granting further lease of life to Article 370 is not going to materialize in any way and added that people of the state will fight the manipulated recommendations of the report tooth and nail.
Sabherwal declared that Jammu-Kashmir People’s Forum stands for total integration of the state with the rest of the country and will carry forward its mission vigorously.
