| Makr Ansari Commission Report to public: Puri | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15- Convenor PUCK has reiterated the demand for releasing Ansari Commission report submitted to the government into the incidents of killings of 14 Sikh some decades back.
In a statement issued here today Puri said the report would not only help in healing the wounds of the Sikh community but also cement inter-community relations. It is equally important that real culprits are identified and victims and their families get full compensation, he added.
Puri regretted that even the Right to Information Act was of no help. On his application to the GAD for a copy of the report to the GAD under the Act, he was directed to approach the Housing and Urban Development Department. But he got no response from it after he sent his application to it.
