| JMC demolish unauthorized construction | | |

Jammu, Jan 16 : Stepping up the drive against the unauthorized constructions, the enforcement staff with police force inspected different areas and checked on going construction. During the inspection the action against the unauthorized constructions was taken on spot by demolishing the constructions of three shop at Gangyal and part of house at Channi Himmat.
The defaulters were asked to seek proper building permissions from Jammu Municipal Corporation before going for construction. Any laxity shown in the matter shall be viewed seriously.
Team also visited the areas of Auqaf Market, Gole Market, Apsra Road and Gandhi Nagar and removed encroachments from the pavements, footpaths etc. |
