Advocate Suriender Khajuria and Advocate Gulshan Kotwal were elected President and General Secretary Udhampur Bar association election for which was held here today
Khajuria on Saturday was elected to the post for second time defeating his nearest rival advocate Rajesh Gupta with a margin of 9 votes. Khajuria polled 35 votes, while his rival did manage 26 votes only. Other two contestants Advocate Pawan Jandial and Anil Vijay got 15 and 9 votes respectively.
Similarly Gulshan Kotwal was elected general secretary defeating his nearest rival Advocate Ajay Bandral by 9 votes. The third contestant Dinker Gupta secured only 9 votes. Meanwhile, Naresh Bhagat was unanimously elected cashier of Bar. |
