| Two nabbed with 1,000 proxyvon capsules | | |

JAMMU, Jan 16: Two youth were today arrested by police from Akhnoor while they were carrying 1,000 banned proxyvon capsules.
Dilbagh Singh of Chak Morh and Babu Ram of Muthi were carrying 1,000 proxyvon capsules for their delivery to some drug addicts in Akhnoor when police developed suspicion about them.
Police sources said they were stopped for checking and while frisking them, cops recovered the capsules from them.
They were immediately taken into custody and evacuated to the concerned police station where a case was registered against them.
The sale of the banned proxyvon capsules has been on the rise in and around Akhnoor. Few days back, a youth was arrested from Akhnoor town with a heavy consignment of capsules. In another incident, two autoricksha-borne youth were arrested by police from near Kanhachak while they were going to Akhnoor to sell capsules. |
