| Truck driver arrested with 100 kg bhukki | | |

JAMMU, Jan 16: A driver of Indian Gas Company truck was today arrested by police from Satwari here along with a consignment of 100 kg bhukki, which he was carrying clandestinely.
Loaded with 300 empty LPG cylinders, the truck (JK02F/8152) was on its way from Srinagar to Kathua when police stopped it at Satwari for routine checking.
Police sources said its search led cops to the recovery of 100 kg bhukki. The driver was then arrested and the truck seized, the sources added.
Sources said the consignment was being smuggled from Srinagar to Kathua.
A case under relevant sections of law stands registered against the driver at the Satwari police station. |
