| Students, businessmen, govt. employee including 13 arrested for gambling | | | JAMMU | OCT 8 Sarwal police arrested three students, three businessmen and 2 private employees when they were busy in playing gamble in Subash Nagar area. According to reports Sarwal police booked a specific information that some persons playing gamble in the area and a police party led by chowki incharge Sarwal Arun Kotwal raided the spot and arrested 8 person red handed and recovered about three thousand rupees cash from the spot. The arrested person have been identified as Hatish Dutta a businessmen, Rajeev Sharma private employee, Akshay Sharma 2nd yar student, Ajay Singh Businessmen Sandeep Sharma private employee, Sunny Sharma BCA Student all residents of Subash Nagar Pardeep Singh a shopkeeper R/o Shiv Nagar and Amit Gupta B.A student R/o Rehari Colony and police register a case in this regard. Meanwhile in another incident of gambling Chinore police arrested 5 persons including a PHE employee for playing gamble. According to reports police booked information that some persons playing gamble in Karan Vihar area and on the direction of SP Rural Rajinder Gupta. Police party led by chowki incharge Chinore Sunil Sharma raided in said area and arrested them. They have been identified as Devider Singh R/o Raipur a PHE employee, Rakesh Kumar R/o Railway quarter, Surjit Kumar R/o Roop Nagar Vikram Singh R/o Patoli and Rakesh Kumar r/o Raipur police party also recovered Rs.5500 cash from the spot and register a case in this regard
