Jammu Joint Students’ Federation (JJSF) held a strong protest demonstration at SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu. Under the leadership of Kulbinder Singh (President, SPMR College of Commerce).
The protestors after boycotting all the classes gathered at College ground. The protest was pertaining to the missing of Anchal Sharma she was reportedly missing form her house. It is further notified that she was earlier given police protection by the orders of court but soon after. Withdrawal of security the incident of her missing of her missing was reported.
JJSF leaders questioned the authorities that it was reason behind such incidents and already the incident which had happened and have worsened day by day.
As per reports during the protest a clash was also seen between JJSF leaders and Incharge Police Post Canal Road . Som Raj. The clash happened as the Police Officer tried to threaten the protesting students who were carrying out their demonstration peacefully in the College campus as soon as the incident happened. There was tiff between the Police officer and students, the students of GGM Sc. College also started protesting against the police officer and the police officer went to GGM Science College. Where the protest was lead by Sahil Choudhary (President, GGM Science College) and Abhay Sharma (Vice President, GGM Science College). The students of the college gathered at main gate and the Incharge Police post Canal Road Som Raj tried to disrupt the protest demonstration inside the college campus as a result of which a clash was also seen and he was forcibly drawn out of the college and the closed the main gate of the college.
