A rally of women wing of Natonal Conference (NC) district, Jammu URBAN was held at Sher-e Kashmir Bhawan under the chairmanship of Rita Devi block president women wing of Jammu west to facilitate Bimla Luthra on being nominated as provincial president NC women wing of Jammu Province.
As per party handout resolution was adopted to congratulate the leadership of the party Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Sheikh nazir Ahmed for nominating Bimla Ltuhra s president of women wing.
Addressing the rally NC Provincial Presidnet Ajay Sadhota cautioned the people of Jammu not to misled as the PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti is misleading the self-rule s besides PDP has no document on self rule and simply she is parroting self rule Sadhotra said farmers and poor people of Jammu region are facing lot of difficulties. It would have been better for her to raise her voice t redress the grievances of people instead of raising slogan of self rule.
Sadhotra said National Conference believes in involvement of the women in the development activities for better results. He asked the women folk to be united and strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. He said present coalition government is ignoring the women folk and is not taking care of their problems.
The women have to face a lot of difficulties due to rise in prices of essential commodities, which government has failed to check process of Kerosene Oil, LPG, Atta, Dal, etc are touching sky and women have to face warth of price rise, he asserted.
Bimla Luthra, president women wing thanked the leadership and party workers. She asked she will try her best to fight for the cause of the women folk. She asked the women folk to be united under the banner of National Conference.
