| Suraj OSD to DyCM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 17: A young and efficient officer Suraj Prakash Rukwal has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty with Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand. An officer of the Kashmir Administrative Services, Suraj replaces M Raju, IAS, who has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Kathua.
Until now Secretary in Jammu Municipal Corporation, Suraj has earlier served as many key posts and most significantly among them as private secretary to the then Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. He was handpicked by Azad for manning his desk at the official residence as long as remained Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
