| NGO demands health facilities at SDH, Gandoh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 17: The educational, environmental social sports and cultural society (EESSCS) of Bhalessa-Doda organized a meeting under the chairmanship of Mohd Ayub Zargar and discussed various health problems being faced by the people of the area. Speaking on the occasion he said that Sub District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh is functioning with in adequate staff. There are 12 vacant posts of doctors in the hospital and at present only BMO is available. He said it is surprising that said hospital belong to the area of union health minister. He further said Dr. Anayat Ali Rather along with BMO Dr. Mohd Yaqoob remain available in hospital round the clock to mitigate the suffering of the patients, but not Dr. Anayat has been selected by PSC and is posted somewhere which has created lot of resentment among the people of the area. Society on the behalf of public of Bhalessa appeal the health minister to retain the Dr. Anayat in same hospital to relieve the pain of public in general and patient in particular. Among others present in the meeting were JA Aghah, Mehboob Iqbal Batt, Zaffer Magray, Shafkat Zargar, Zaffrullah Sheik, Krishan Lal, Romesh Tailor, Lekh Raj, Gh. Nabi, Mohd Hanief, Shah Din and Showket Ali Sheikh who is one voice demand that adequate staff be protest in the hospital.
