| AEE among 19 suspended, PDD division sealed | | | Anantnag, July 22 : At least nineteen employees of different government departments, who were unauthorizedly absent, were placed under suspension by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kulgam today.
Informed sources said that Sub- Divisional Magistrate Kulgam today paid surprise visit of different government departments. The SDM who first visited his own office at 10.30 am found four employees absent from duties and placed them under suspension.
Later SDM visited Tehsil office Kulgam, checked the attendance register of the office and found two employees absent with out placing any leave. The SDM issued on spot orders of suspension of both the employees including an employee of Tehsildar settlement Kulgam.
An assistant executive engineer along with other eleven employees of electric sub-division Kulgam was also placed under suspension after they were found absent unauthorizedly.
According to sources Sub-divisional magistrate later visited office of the executive engineer PDD Kulgam at around 2.15 and found the office locked.
SDM immediately sealed the office and wrote Divisional Kashmir about the absence of the employees including the executive engineer of the division.
He according to sources recommends suspension of the whole staff as the office was locked during working hours. Sources added. |
