| Sanskriti Sangam educational tour conducts | | | UDHAMPUR | OCT 8 ‘Saskriti Sangam a motivational-cum- educational tour of 30 student from Gul and Mahore teshsil of Udhampur district under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ organized by the troops of Uniform Force, returned to Reasi after 13 days trip to Delhi Jaipur, Agra, Ajmer. The tour was flagged in by GOC Uniform Force today. The children were in a jubilant mood on their return. The hallmark of their stay in Delhi was an exclusive visit to the Rashtrapati Bhawan and interaction with other local school children. They offered Namaz at Jama Masjid in Delhi and prayed for peace and prosperity of the region. At Delhi they also visited the qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Nehru Planetarium City Palace, Jantar Manar, Hawa Mahal and Ajmer Fort at Jaipur. While at Agra, the students visited world famous Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri. During their visit to Ajmer, the students offered Namaz at Dargah of Khawajah Moin-ud-Din Chishti, which is considered as ‘Chotta Haj’ for all Muslims brethren. At Reasi, the children interacted with he inmates of ‘Ankur Children Home’ and shared with each other their experiences of life. In keeping with the aim of the ‘Sanskriti Sangam’ students expressed that the tour has enhanced their awareness and has helped in understanding the secular credentials of the nation, as well as the importance of peace for all round development. The tour has helped them to establish bondage with people in other parts of the country. They expressed their desire to spread this awareness amongst their brethren and undertake efforts to bring peace and prosperity in the region by educating the masses. They expressed their gratitude to Army’s CI Force (Uniform), Mahore Sector RR and 58 Rashtritya Rifles (Rajput) for having given them this golden opportunity of traveling to far off palces, which provided them experiences of a lifetime. ‘Sanskriti Sangam’ has been successful in spreading the message of peace, harmony and brotherhood and would go a long way in integrating the people of this region with the national mainstream.
