| JMC employees hail re-organzation of Civic bodies | | |

JAMMU, Jan 19: The municipal employees federation and safai karmchari union in separate statement have hailed the decision of the government in re-organization of Jammu and Srinagar municipal corporation.
As per press release of Municipal employees federation in a meeting jointly chaired by V Chandel and Anil Kashyap has said that as per re-organization. The JMC comprising of 71 wards has to be divided into four zones, each to be headed by an Assistant Commissioner and also there are so many administrative posts for the smooth functioning of JMC, they said govt. has approved the re-organization proposal but have not implemented it. Re-organization is in the public interest without people are facing lot of inconvenience for obvious reasons.
The JMC Municipal Employees Federation supports the SMC employees for their genuine demands and requests that the re-organization of JMC too done as per their counterpart of SMC. Meanwhile meeting of various cadres of Municipal Employees held under the presidentship of Dev Anand Gill hailed the decision of the govt. he said employees of JMC fully supports their counterparts of SMC and request the Govt. to immediate issue orders for the implementation of Re-organization of JMC and SMC. He also threatens the govt. that if the govt. did not take issues of Re-Organization along with the SMC employees goes on strike in near future.
