| Balwant resents police station at JU campus | | |

Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia has expressed his resentment against opening of police post at Jammu University.
Mankotia issued a statement in this regard following a deputation of Jammu University students representing different organizations met him in party office today.
He was told by the students that the authorities of University are behaving like dictator with the student community by opening of police post inside the campus with out consent of students, scholars, teachers and non-teaching staff.
The administration is going to depute 100 to150 policemen inside the campus where as University has already got 137 security men, said students
They further told the Panthers president that the entire student community is shocked over the non-academic activities in the campus.
The students alleged that the authorities are concentrating only on their own security where as University is totally non serious over their long pending demands.
Mankotia gave a patient hearing to the students and assured his party’s full support to them in their ongoing struggle.
