| Ehsaas’ staged at Abhinav Theatre | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 21- On the fourth day of play festival, Nav Durga Kala Manch, Jammu presented an emotionally loaded play “Ehsaas” at Abhinav Theatre on Thursday. The play has been written by Aditya Bhanu and directed by Shashi Bhushan.
The play highlights the futility of impulsiveness and centers on human relations especially the relations that young couples share with one another. It brings to the fore the temporariness of the emotions of sensuousness.
Ehsaas is a story of a young man Aditya who falls in love with a girl called Neha. Both are coworkers and love each other. But all of a sudden the story takes a dramatic turn when Neha ditches Aditya for some one else. Here begins the real play.
Aditya after having been ditched by his love interest loses hope and interest in life. After thorough grooming by his friend Sahil and long introspection on his part Aditya realizes his mistake and manages to come out of the trauma of sensuous emotions.
He not only starts his work with confidence but also cultivates a fresh and cordial relation with his family.
Those who performed on stage for the play included Aditya Bhanu, Rajeev Raina, Rakesh Dogra, Usha Slathia, Shelly Sharma, Ritu Manhas, Baby Prathanjali, Shashi Bhushan, and Sandeep Mehra while set designing was done by Rajeev Raina
