Early Times Report Jammu Jan 21 The Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, inaugurated a painting exhibition at Kala Kendra, here this afternoon. The First Lady, Mrs. Usha Vohra, also accompanied him on the occasion. The 15-day long exhibition, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, will remain open for public viewing between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. In all, 39 paintings of well known and upcoming artists are on display which were made at the recent Art Camps organized by the Cultural Academy at Rajouri and Jammu. The Governor went around the exhibition and evinced keen interest in the paintings. He complimented the artists and appreciated the Culture Academy for organizing this exhibition. Earlier, on arrival at the Kala Kendra, the Governor and the First Lady were received by the Secretary of the Academy, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, artists, writers, intellectuals, art lovers and a number of other persons present on the occasion.
