| Manohar reviews arrangement for Maha Vishnu Yagna at Hatli | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, JAN 22: Minister for Cooperative, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma today visited Maroli-Hatli in Kathua district to take stock of the arrangements for a week long Maha Vishnu Yagna, to be held which began on January 26. The Yagna has been arranged by revered Manohar Lal Shastri for overall peace and prosperity of the Country and the State in particular. Volunteers from 20 villages are working round the clock for providing facilities and other arrangements to the devotees, visiting in thousands for seeking blessings. The Minister went round the Pandals, erected at the site where several segments have been earmarked for displaying various religious books etc. He assured the Management of the Yagna for overall development of the area for which Executive Engineer, PWD, Kathua will be directed to visit the place and assess the development requirements. The Management of the Yagna expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made with regard to supply of drinking water, uninterrupted Electricity and adequate transport facilities. The Minister was accompanied by MLC Mr. Subash Gupta and other senior leaders and prominent citizens of the area. Earlier, Dr. Manohar, accompanied by Mr. Subash Gupta, MLC and Mr. Vinod Mishra, Secretary, PCC also visited the revered temple of Parshuram at Gho-Rakwala in Vijaypur paid obeisance and prayed for the everlasting peace and prosperity in the State. He also participated in the Puran Ahuti on the occasion.
