Jammu, Jan 22: The Jammu and Kashmir scheduled caste employees forum in its meeting checked the seniority lists issed by the administration branch of the university of Jammu here today. The forum observed t hat the placement of the scheduled caste that the placement of the scheduled caste employees was not in accordance with the reservation roster and observed that the reservation meant for SCs have not properly been implemented. The forum held JU officers posted in the administration responsible and as such demanded their immediate transfer from the administration section.
The forum urged the vice-chancellor to issue directions to the registrar for calculation of the back log position meant for SCs, and to ensure placement of the SC employees in the seniority lists of all categories as per the roster points of the existing SRO-294 read with SRO -144 the release added.
