EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 23: Tightening its noose around the defaulters, the Enforcement Wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today removed unauthorized construction and seized other material. A team of the Enforcement Wing led by Chief Enforcement Officer inspected different areas. The team demolished a marriage hall which was being built without seeking permission from the Corporation at Sarwal and seized tools and other construction material. Besides, the Municipal Veterinary Officer along with field staff visited the areas of Patta Paloura, Muthi Camp, Roop Nagar, Janipur and New Plot and checked 69 milk containers. Out of which 11 milk canes were lifted and sent to laboratory. A fine of Rs 2000 was also realized from the erring milk vendors. Meanwhile, the team also visited different areas comprising Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur, Kacchi Chawni, Parade, Vikram Chowk, Narwal, Railway road, Panama Chowk, Gole Market, Satwari and Gandhi Nagar area and lifted 13 stray animals. The lifted stray animals were impounded to cattle pound and a fine of Rs 3350 was also realized from the owners of stray animals.
