| Netaji remembered on his 113 birthday | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 23: To celebrate the 113 birthday of Netaji Subash Chander Bose, a function was organized at Maheshpura Chowk, Bakshi Nagar by the corporator of the area Surinder Singh Shingari here today.
Speaking on the occasion Shingari apprise the gathering especially the youth the role played by Netaji during freedom struggle. He said it was his slogan ‘Tum Mujhe Khoon Doo Mein Tumein Aazadi Doon Ga’, which inspired people to join Indian National army. Among others present on the occasions were Ashok Sharma, Surinder Gupta, Vijay Pathania, Sudesh Kumar, Anil Kohli, Rakesh Kapali, Amit Gupta and AP Shah.
On the occasion corporator honoured principals and headmasters of various school functioning in the area. He also expressed the hope that the educational institutions will keep up the spirit of nationalism among the students.
