Exempt sale tax on LPG, diesel, petrol demands Dimple

Jammu, Jan 24: A massive protest rally was organized by the workers of Jammu west assembly movement (JWAM) against both state and centre who failed to check price hike of essential commodities. Addressing the protestors JWAM president Sunil Dimple said day by day prices of essential items is on rise, and creating problems for the poor people, but added both the governments are doing nothing in this regard. He urged upon the chief minister Omar Abdullah, MP’s and MLA to apprise the prime minister regarding hike and don’t shrunk from responsibilities.
Dimple also demanded that the CA&PD department also check price hike and raid the shops and go-down of the hoarders etc. He also demanded sale tax on LPG, petrol and diesel so as to relieve common man of this extra burden of the state.
The leaders who also were the part of protestors were Ramesh Chander Kohli, Dr. Sham Saroop Gupta, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sanjay Nagraj, Kulbir Singh, Manjit Kumar, Pappu, Ravinder Verma, Devinder Kumar, DN Bhat, Billu Pahalwan, Balbir Gupta etc.
