| After exam boycott, NSF threatens indefinite strike in JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 24: National Secular Forum (NSF) has threatened to launch indefinite strike in Jammu University over issues of mass copying, marks tempering and the move to establish police post on campus. Addressing media persons here today, President NSF Vikas Sharma said that candle light protest march by the girl students and scholars in the evening hours on campus shows the degree of resentment towards the authorities for misleading and befooling the people in the name of enquiry in the cases of mass copying and marks tempering. The students and scholars are also opposing the decision of establishing a police post on campus and the rigidity of authorities over this sensitive issue, he said He further said that more than fifty students have boycotted there exams as they have shown their resentment towards the university authorities. He appealed Chancellor (Governor) and Pro-Chancellor (Chief Minister) to take cognizance of the incidents and protests in the University. Sunny Babber President Jammu Unit (NSF), Mohammad Maqeem Ansari President Jammu University Unit (NSF) also spoke on the occasion.
