Hailing the meeting of International Kashmir Federation (IKF), a United State (US) based organisation of Kashmiri Pandits with US Government officials, members of Congress and senate, Panun Kashmir has described it as “yet another significant political development in the struggle of displaced Kashmiri Pandits in achieving Homeland. In a meeting of Supreme Council of Panun Kashmir under the chairmanship of Dr. Agnishekhar here today, the organisation has welcomed the stand taken by IKF before US Government officials and senators and termed it as yet another significant political development in the struggle of displaced Kashmiri Pandits in achieving Homeland. The Supreme Council appreciated the role of senior Panun Kashmir representative Dr. Surinder Koul of Houston in closely coordinating between IKF and Panun Kashmir in making this significant presentation possible before US State Government officials, senators and Congressmen. As per the press statement, the IKF made presentation before Deputy Assistant Secretary of US State department, Michael Owen, Congressman, Mike Honda, Republican Congressman, Ed Royce, frank Pallone, Congressman, Jerry Mc Nerney and Senator Sherrod Brown wherein it was said that for the reversal of genocide and exodus and survival of Kashmiri Pandit community, the only way out was creation of a separate Homeland for 7.5 lakh Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley.
